National Volunteer Philosophy
Volunteer advisors exist to empower women. They facilitate decision-making, provide accurate information and resources, and serve as a mentor to collegiate members. They cultivate partnership among all entity stakeholders and reinforce expectations in alignment with national policies, procedures and operations.
Chapter Advisory Committee
The Sigma Lambda Gamma Advisory Committee is comprised of four advisors selected by the chapter:
The purpose of this committee is to assist chapters and colonies of Sigma Lambda Gamma in successful daily management, ensuring all national and local requirements are met, maintain open communication between university and National Headquarters, and aid as a resource for professional and leadership development.
Expansion Advisory Committee
An Expansion Advisory Committee is comprised of two advisors selected by the National Headquarters office:
In addition to assisting colonies in successful daily management, ensuring all national and local requirements are met, maintaining open communication between university and National Headquarters, and aiding as a resource for professional and leadership development, the main purpose of this advisory committee is to guide colonies through the 2-year process of petitioning for chapter status.
