Sigma Lambda Gamma was founded at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, Iowa on April 9, 1990.Β 

Today, Sigma Lambda Gamma is the largest, historically Latina-based national sorority with a multicultural membership in chapters and alumnae associations throughout the United States

Regional Retreats

Regional Retreats are a way for collegiate entities to gain valuable chapter development and leadership training every semester, along with memorable sisterhood bonding. These retreats are facilitated by their respective Regional Director, Headquarters staff, and/or professionals in a respective area.

Sisters from the Central Region met the weekend of Sept. 16th at The Ohio State University for their regional retreat. Attendees were updated on national programs, gained valuable development skills and training, and best-of-all, bonded as a sisterhood in Columbus, Ohio. Not only that, but the region packed over 350 packages of menstrual products for victims of the current hurricanes and homeless women within the community. πŸ’•πŸ’œ
